Sales Support
- Support direct sales activities and assist the sales team with customer inquiries, quotations, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals, pricing, and sales presentations.
- Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to determine project status and next steps.
- Maintain customer records, activities, and account information within the company's CRM system.
- Assist in managing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for additional product applications.
- Prepare sales reports tracking activity, pipeline development, and business opportunities.
- Research and identify prospective customers within manufacturing, industrial, OEM, military, aerospace, and HVAC markets.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and market research.
- Assist in identifying upcoming projects and programs where the company's products may provide value.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as required.
- Support marketing initiatives by collecting customer success stories and application examples.
- Monitor industry trends, customer activity, and competitive products.
- Assist in gathering market intelligence, pricing information, and customer feedback.
- Support sales forecasting and pipeline management activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to help identify opportunities for product improvements and new market applications.
- Participate in product and industry training programs.
- Learn technical product features and applications to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Support customer presentations and meetings alongside senior sales personnel.
- Develop knowledge of key industries served by the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness to learn technical products and applications.
- Internship, co-op, customer service, sales, retail, or business development experience.
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, military, HVAC, or OEM markets.
- Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with reading technical documents or product specifications.
- Ability to travel as needed for customer visits, training, and trade shows.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a hybrid office environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
