RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers or fellow team members. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Reports issues to Management.
Cleaning
Transports all dirty tableware to designated washing area for cleaning. Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions. Performs all assigned cleaning and general maintenance tasks.
Performance
Any and all duties as assigned by your supervisor or a member of management. Must be able to stand for a full shift. Reports issues and/or guest complaints to leader. Serves as an ambassador for all Food and Beverage outlets.
Compliance
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Management. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Knowledge
Prior knowledge of proper food holding temperatures and the ability to identify temperature danger zones and understanding the proper use of cleaning chemicals preferred but not required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age. Prior food handling, cashier and/or attendant experience preferred. High School diploma or equivalent; or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
Communication
Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Ability to effectively present proper phone etiquette. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
