GMP Materials and Inventory Coordinator Location: Madison, WICompensation: $25/hr A day in the life You start your shift by reviewing inbound shipments. Pallets arrive—each is inspected against purchase orders, quantities verified, and documentation captured. You update the ERP (SAP preferred), print compliant labels for GMP and non-GMP items, and stage materials for production, testing, or storage. Mid-day, you tackle a discrepancy: a transfer variance triggers an investigation—cycle count, root-cause analysis, and a clean correction in the system. In the afternoon, you coordinate outbound shipments, confirm carrier pickups, and deliver staged materials to manufacturing and labs. Before clocking out, you flag slow-moving inventory and log a process improvement idea to keep the warehouse running lean, safe, and accurate. Role purpose Support daily inventory control, materials management, and shipping/receiving activities to ensure accurate material flow, proper documentation, and on-time delivery for manufacturing, testing, and broader business operations. What you'll do Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, equipment, and parcels against documentation.Maintain stock levels for GMP and non-GMP materials, including safety stock targets.Schedule and prepare outbound shipments; coordinate with internal teams for timing and packaging.Label, package, store, and move materials according to established procedures and SOPs.Transact in ERP and update inventory control records (SAP strongly preferred).Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, problem orders, and transfer variances.Execute cycle counts, perform root-cause analysis, and support the annual physical inventory.Identify excess, slow-moving, and obsolete stock to reduce waste and improve turns.Deliver materials to production lines, labs, and designated storage locations.Assist broader supply chain operations with material handling and logistics tasks.Contribute to maintaining and improving warehouse workflows and inventory control procedures. What you bring High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred).Hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or materials management.Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.Ability to work independently with strong accuracy and attention to detail.Experience in cGMP or scientific environments preferred.ERP proficiency; SAP strongly preferred.Microsoft Office proficiency.
