Job Title: Logistics Specialist ILocation: Vacaville, CA (Onsite)Schedule: Mon–Fri, 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | 5× OnsitePay Range: $20–$25/hr on W2Job SummaryThe Logistics Specialist I plays a critical role in supporting material logistics within a cGMP manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for receiving, sampling, storage, distribution, and transfer of materials, as well as weighing and kitting direct materials for manufacturing. The role also includes supporting hazardous material handling, documentation accuracy, data entry, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Logistics & HandlingReceive, sample, store, and distribute materials in a cGMP-regulated area.Transfer materials to manufacturing and perform weighing & kitting of direct materials.Prepare raw materials and components for shipment to other company manufacturing sites.Handle and ship hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.Complete miscellaneous material handling tasks as needed.Equipment OperationSafely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, drum lifters/conditioners, etc.Use RF equipment for inventory operations.Inventory & DocumentationMaintain accurate raw material inventory and documentation.Perform inventory checks and cycle counts, targeting 100% accuracy.Manage ordering, receiving, and storage of materials and supplies.Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, inspection-ready condition.Systems Use & ComplianceProperly utilize business and support systems including DCS, POMS, SAP, LIMS, PQS, and related tools.Ensure compliance with cGMP procedures, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.Complete all required training and certifications proactively.Teamwork & SafetyCommunicate professionally within a team environment; support team members as needed.Follow all safety guidelines and report incidents immediately (injuries, near misses, environmental issues).Identify operational issues through “line-of-sight accountability” and escalate appropriately.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong literacy, numeracy, and high attention to detail.Experience with computer-based systems; validated system experience preferred.Prior warehouse and inventory management experience preferred.Ability to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts) preferred.Ability to work cooperatively within a team or independently.Strong adherence to safety and compliance standards.
