Customer Service Representative

The Opportunity:

The Customer Service Representative at Vitracoat America is a commercially focused customer service professional who desires to work directly with our customers to ensure orders are accurately entered, scheduled and shipped within the promised timelines. This individual will be a key driver within their given territory. He/she will interact with all parts of the organization to ensure superior service is achieved. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and outstanding organizational skills are key to superior performance in this position.

Responsibilities:

This individual will be expected to work in a group environment under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor. He/she will be expected to use good judgment, and ethical decision-making abilities managing their individual day-to-day tasks, as well as their backup assignments.

• Drive accurate timely entry and manage all sales orders within assigned territory.
• Work with customer base to ensure stocking agreements and blanket orders are shipped according to customer expectations.
• Work with Production control team to ensure back ordered inventory is efficiently scheduled within the customer lead times.
• Manage the outbound logistics from 10 warehouses for all sales orders within an assigned territory.
• When issues occur, maintain positive, proactive communication with Sales, Production, the Warehouses, and customer to drive quick resolution.
• Understand and competently complete all Customer Service-related flows within 1 year of employment.
• Able to track shipments within the item ledger
• Properly escalates shipping issues and expedites to Supervisor or Senior team members.
• Manage inbound calls and individual inbox
• Depending on customer service experience, tasks will include data entry until training has been completed and territory has been assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Vitracoat's ERP and CRM systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Dynamics NAV.
• 2 years of Customer Service experience in a manufacturing or distribution company
• General Knowledge of scheduling with LTL common carriers
• Proficiency in MS office
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Embrace an environment of continuous improvement and adapt to change quickly
• Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Superior organizational skills and dedication to completing job functions in a timely manner
• High School Diploma is required

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 45-minute lunch break

Compensation Details: $18 - $25

Physical Demands
The employee must be able to communicate clearly with others and must be physically able to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and kneel. The employee must be able to occasionally lift or move up to approximately 55 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision and color vision. Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
