What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preconstruction Manager position at Vitality Group?
We work across technically driven projects in the Palo Alto area, including life sciences, R&D, office, lab, and manufacturing facilities. The focus is on setting projects up the right way from the start, with strong planning, coordination, and close collaboration with clients and design teams.
We’re looking for a Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction efforts from early budgeting through GMP, developing cost plans and supporting overall project strategy. Coordinate closely with clients, design teams, and internal teams while identifying risks, gaps, and cost drivers early. Manage subcontractor outreach and bid reviews to ensure full scope coverage and alignment.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 8 years commercial construction experience with stable work history
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Positive attitude
- Professional business acumen
- Attention to detail
