What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Estimator - Construction position at Vitality Group?
We are a growing commercial contractor in Fremont, CA and we're seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the financial planning of complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project estimates from concept through guaranteed maximum price.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope to identify cost drivers and potential risks
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure accurate, competitive pricing
- Provide guidance on alternative solutions and value strategies to optimize project budgets
- Partner with project leadership to ensure smooth transition from estimate to execution
Desired Skills and Experience
- Stable work history preferably with a top ENR GC
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Positive attitude
- Professional business acumen
- Attention to detail
