We Deliver the Goods:
The Billing Analyst supports Sales, Operations, Finance, Accounting and other various teams across the organization, as well as direct interaction and support to customers, suppliers and other third-party providers. They are responsible for compiling records of charges for services rendered or goods sold from various systems and sources. The Billing Analyst calculates and records charges for these services and goods to prepare and post invoices into the system of record. This will require additional critical thinking, application, and interpretation of nonstandard/manual contract rates. The Billing Analyst communicates and interacts with external partners, and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner, serving as a SME. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. This role requires attention to detail and ability to compile and calculate large amounts of data in excel and other various systems using multiple functions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
$60,000 - $75,000 base salary 15% annual incentive potential

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Compiling data from various systems, applications, and sources
- Complete and verify calculations for standard and non-standard programs. Nonstandard can be too complex for a system to automate and therefore require manual steps to be applied correctly and accurately
- Input complied data into system for billing and prepare backup or support to provide to customer or supplier
- Verification and interpretation of customer contracts to ensure proper billing of compiled data for approx. Analyze and identify risk in more than 100 different programs
- Create customer and supplier billing; $6MM /mth during peak season
- Work closely with Customer Service Team to design and implement a process flow for customer and supplier inquiries
- Investigate and resolve customer or supplier discrepancies regarding billing backup/invoices. May require corrective action for incorrect billing or other issues as they become known
- Sever as the SME working closely with Sales and Fin Ops Team regarding new customers/contracts to ensure accurate billing
- Design enhancements and modifications to billing platforms as the business grows and evolves to accommodate new capabilities and functionality to support the business
- Performs various Accounting and Finance tasks and responsibilities as needed by the business
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Associate's Degree/2-Year Technical - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of Operational Accounting experience
- Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
