Billing Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our team in Canton, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting office operations by managing billing processes, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining compliance with company policies. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute to a dynamic team within the wholesale distribution industry while enhancing your skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer sales invoices, shipments, and pickups efficiently while ensuring accuracy.

• Verify and apply appropriate sales tax rates during invoice reviews.

• Prepare and manage freight billings for customer accounts.

• Perform billing and review processes for assigned locations to maintain consistency and accuracy.

• Support corporate initiatives and programs by aligning tasks with business goals.

• Exhibit a high standard of conduct and deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.

• Abide by company policies, safety regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance.

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Adjust work hours and perform overtime when required by business demands.

• Proficiency in 10-key and alpha-numeric data entry with a focus on speed and accuracy.
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Outlook effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for detail-oriented correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math functions and analyze detailed information.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate-level Excel capabilities.
• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, productivity-driven environment.
• Dependability and reliability with a strong track record of attendance.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude as part of a team.
