What You'll Do
As a member of our surgical team, you will play an important role in supporting safe, efficient procedures and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare instruments and supplies for procedures.
- Follow aseptic and infection-control standards.
- Anticipate the surgical team's needs.
- Maintain the sterile field throughout procedures.
- Clean, care for, and sterilize instruments.
- Operate sterilization equipment and complete required testing.
- Maintain instrument tracking and inventory.
- Stock and maintain surgical and sterile processing areas.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and the surgical team.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Current Surgical Technologist certification recognized in Virginia
- Current BLS Certification
- Operating Room experience
- Surgical Technology program completion or LPN licensure
- Strong professional references
Preferred:
- 2 years of OR experience
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience
