About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Complex Behavioral, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You’ll help them build independence, navigate daily routines, and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living tasks (meal prep, personal care, light housekeeping).

• Implement Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) and handle de-escalation with empathy.

• Safely administer medications (training provided).

• Accompany individuals on fun outings, community activities, and appointments.

• Maintain complete daily documentation and log notes in our EHR system.

Qualifications

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Screening: Must pass a background check and drug screening.

• Physical Ability: Able to lift 50 lbs and assist individuals with mobility/transfers.

• Schedule: Flexible to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Prior caregiving experience and a valid Driver’s License are a plus, but not required!
