Full Job Description
Vista Care is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Day Services team in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role, you will empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop life skills, participate in community activities, and achieve greater independence.
Key Responsibilities

Provide Direct Care & Support: Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and plan implementation (ISP/BSP) while advocating for their independence and dignity.

Facilitate Community Engagement: Plan and lead person-centered activities and outings to promote skill building and social integration.

Maintain Health, Safety & Records: Safely administer medications, maintain a safe environment, and record daily logs and electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Valid driver’s license and clear driving record (required for transporting individuals).

Ability to pass a background check and complete state certifications within 90 days.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with physical mobility.
