What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregivers for Whatcom County position at Visiting Angels?
Visiting Angels is a non-medical home care agency. We are seeking caregivers to join our team of in home-caregivers in Whatcom County. If you are passionate about helping others, we want to meet you! We offer a range of schedules from 1-hour shifts to 24-hour live-in care.
We offer $19 to $23 per hour starting, plus paid sick and safety leave.
Depending on your skill and comfort, duties include:
Companionship
Light housekeeping
Assisting with transfers
Personal care assistance
Medication reminders
Transportation
Dementia and Alzheimer care
Developmentally disabled care
End-of-life care
Experience preferred, but we will offer training for the right applicants. We offer training and tuition assistance for certification.
