Role Overview:
As an In-Home Caregiver at Visiting Angels of Catawba Valley, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to seniors in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to support daily living activities, ensuring that they maintain their independence and dignity. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to create a schedule that suits your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Conduct light housekeeping and offer medication reminders as needed.
- Follow individualized care plans created by our registered nurses.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- PCA or CNA certification, or relevant caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check with no charges beyond traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a drug test, including THC.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak English fluently.
Bonus If You:
- Have prior experience working with seniors in a personal care capacity.
- Possess additional certifications related to caregiving.
- Are trained in crisis intervention or behavioral health support.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible scheduling options throughout the week, including weekends.
Location:
This position is on-site only, located in Morganton, North Carolina.
