Award-winning Visiting Angels Senior Home Care Yakima is seeking a Caregiver Lead to assist with client home supervisory visits, provide supplemental caregiver training, and mentor new Caregivers as they develop their careers with us. This position will be an impactful, positive, and supportive influence on our Caregivers and will represent the high standards associated with Visiting Angels for over 25 years.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Requirements:
Possess a current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA) or a Home Care Aide Certification (HCA). Maintain State of Washington Department of Health-mandated licenses, certifications, background checks, and participate, as required, in in-service training programs.
Demonstrate comfort and ease visiting Clients’ homes, completing supervisory visits, and mentoring/training Caregivers both on-site and in the office, communicating clearly and effectively with Clients and their loved ones.
Maintain professionalism and serve as a strong representative to uphold the business brand, reputation, and culture.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to listen and communicate clearly, and diplomatically – both verbally and in writing.
Generate goodwill for the Agency with staff, Clients, their family members, and referral sources, demonstrating a strong commitment to service excellence.
Develop positive professional relationships with applicable external referral organizations such as Home Health Agencies, Senior Communities, and Hospitals.
Develop creative solutions, manage detail, and contribute to a positive working environment by providing indirect leadership to Caregivers and other office team members.
Prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work under pressure, maintain a positive presence, and balance the need to work independently and as a team.
Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, Clients and Clients’ families, aligning with HIPAA standards.
Possess a Nurse Delegation Certification (preferred), which is required to care for Clients with Nurse Delegation activities.
Exercise good judgment consistent with agency Standard Operating Procedures and Values.
Ensure compliance with WA DOH requirements for Home Care Agencies.
Utilize strong time management skills.
Foster an environment that supports learning and continual improvement.
Present a well-groomed image that reflects the professionalism of the business.
Possess a strong commitment to reliability and punctuality.
Supervisory Experience is desirable.
Be at least eighteen (18) years of age and able to read, write, and understand directions in English and provide Proof of Identity and Authorization to Work in the United States.
