Technical Support Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Support Analyst to join a dynamic organization where you can make a meaningful impact!
What You’ll Do
- Provide ~60% in-person support and ~40% phone, email, and chat support
- Participate in an 8-hour weekly help desk/phone rotation
- Resolve Level I Incidents & Service Requests; triage Level II/III issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Validate resolutions with users and update the ITSM system
- Partner with infrastructure, security, applications, and governance teams
- Follow and support IT Security Policies and procedures
- Create and update knowledge base articles
- Contribute to continual service improvement initiatives
- Juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat
- Support offices in Catonsville & Clarksville; backup Baltimore & Easton
Work Details
- 6-month contract-to-hire
- Flexible hours required; on-call and occasional weekend work
- Typical overtime: 3–5 hours per week
- Travel out of state for training during the first 3–4 weeks (expenses covered)
What You Bring
- 3 years of technical support experience
- Strong Windows, MS Office, Active Directory, and network support skills
- Desk-side support expertise
- PC imaging, re-imaging, encryption validation, and app installation experience
- Hardware/software troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of email spam filtering tools
- Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle
- Ability to transport IT equipment between offices
- Willingness to use your cell phone for work communication
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test (excluding marijuana)
