Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer
We are seeking a Palantir Forward-Deployed Engineer to serve as the primary technical architect for high-impact, production-grade AI solutions.
You will be on the front lines of deployment and delivery and will function as the primary technical voice within a delivery pod. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into high-impact, production-grade solutions, ensuring the quality and velocity of technical output. Working within pods, you will design and implement data pipelines and model insurance domain logic in Ontology, building operational applications that drive business KPIs.
This is a direct-hire position.
Work a hybrid schedule (2 days/week onsite) in Austin, TX.
Travel an average of 10-30% of the time (approx. 2-6 nights per month).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own full delivery lifecycle of Palantir Foundry / AIP solutions, from prototype to production
- Design & implement data pipelines using Foundry Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories
- Model insurance domain logic in Ontology (Objects, Links, Action Types, Functions)
- Build operational applications in Workshop, OSDK, and Quiver, with a focus on UX
- Develop & maintain AI agents using AIP Agent Studio, Logic, Evals, and Observability tooling
- Maintain & enforce CoE tech standards: code quality, documentation, architecture patterns
- Collaborate with partners on requirements and deployment readiness
REQUIRED
- 1 yrs. of experience building within Palantir Foundry ecosystem
- Strong Data Engineering (Pipeline Builder, SQL, or Python-based transforms)
- Experience with Application Building (Foundry Workshop, Quiver, or OSDK)
- Complex business logic modeling within Digital Twin/Ontology framework
- Strong communication skills (to act as the primary technical voice in a pod)
- Ability to travel 10-30%
PREFERRED
- Palantir AIP (AI Platform) & Agent Studio experience
- Fintech or Insurance domain logic experience
- TypeScript skills (for OSDK development)
- Experience mentoring Engineers or enforcing CoE standards
