What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stocker/Cashier position at Vision Vintage?
We're hiring for a combined stocker and cashier role at our Cleveland location. It's a role with two halves: keeping the shelves full and looking right, and getting customers through the checkout quickly and pleasantly. Some days lean more one way than the other.
Position details

- Shifts include weekends and some evenings, with your schedule shared in advance
On the floor
The stocking side of the job means:
- Unloading deliveries and breaking down pallets
- Restocking shelves and rotating stock so older product sells first
- Facing and tidying aisles so the store looks presentable
- Checking for damaged, expired, or mispriced items
- Building displays and updating signage when promotions change
- Keeping the stockroom in order
At the register
The cashier side means:
- Ringing up purchases accurately and handling cash, card, and mobile payments
- Processing returns, exchanges, and coupons
- Bagging carefully and helping customers out where needed
- Answering questions about products, prices, and where to find things
- Balancing your drawer at the end of your shift
What we're looking for
No retail experience needed. We'll train you on the register and the stocking routine. It helps if you:
- Show up on time and ready to work
- Stay friendly with customers even during a rush
- Are comfortable on your feet for most of your shift
- Can lift and move boxes up to around 50 lbs
- Work well alongside a team and pitch in where you're needed
- Notice when something looks off, whether that's an empty shelf or a wrong price tag

Plenty of our department leads and shift supervisors started as stockers and cashiers. If you want more responsibility, tell your manager and we'll build a path toward Lead Cashier, Department Supervisor, or Assistant Store Manager.
