What are the responsibilities and job description for the SMT AOI Inspector position at Vision Staffing Solutions LLC?
Position: SMT AOI/Inspector
Location: Gardena, CA
Shift: 1st, 6am - 2:30pm overtime when needed
Compensation: $24/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate AOI machines to inspect SMT assemblies for defects
- Perform visual inspections using microscopes per IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 standards
- Conduct solder touch-up, hand soldering, and rework of thru-hole and SMT components
- Review blueprints, BOMs, and assembly instructions to ensure quality compliance
- Document inspection results and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Support additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years of related experience preferred
- IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 certification required
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
- Proficient in English; organized and reliable
