Our client, a global leader in commodity trading for more than 60 years, is searching for a Global Controller. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Global Controller will serve as the senior accounting leader for the organization.
This individual will oversee a complex international accounting function, act as the company's technical accounting leader, and partner closely with Tax, Treasury, Legal, operations, and executive leadership They will also continue to strengthen and scale the global accounting organization.
The ideal candidate has deep IFRS expertise, experience with commodity trading accounting and has lead a global team. The ability to partner effectively with executive leadership, auditors, lenders, and external stakeholders is also critical.
