A leading law firm is confidentially seeking a Head of Marketing / Director of Creative Marketing to lead its brand and marketing function during a period of rapid growth. This is a senior leadership role for a creative marketing executive with direct experience working with major professional sports leagues or teams—specifically the NFL and/or NHL—or comparable high-profile sports partnerships.
The successful candidate will bring deep creative agency experience, a strong portfolio of brand-centric campaigns, and a proven ability to lead and mentor creative teams while operating in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the firm’s creative marketing and brand strategy, with a strong focus on campaigns tied to NFL and NHL partnerships
- Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns across brand, digital, print, TV, social, out-of-home, sponsorships, and experiential marketing
- Serve as the creative lead for sports-related partnerships and activations, ensuring brand alignment, consistency, and measurable impact
- Manage, mentor, and scale internal creative and marketing teams, setting a high bar for creative excellence
- Collaborate closely with firm leadership, business development, and external agencies to support growth and brand visibility
- Oversee creative direction, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing touchpoints
- Drive disciplined project management from concept through execution in a deadline-driven environment
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in a senior creative or marketing leadership role, ideally within a creative agency or brand environment
- Demonstrated experience working with the NFL and/or NHL, professional sports teams, leagues, or major sports sponsorships
- Proven success leading high-impact, brand-centric campaigns in high-profile, public-facing environments
- Strong creative vision paired with hands-on execution and people management experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-oriented organization
