Exciting opportunity – We are looking for a Branch Coordinator to join our team in Wichita, KS- working 80% in our local warehouse and 20% (or as needed) in our customer service department.
Essential Functions:
Remove inbound freight from carrier and check for shipping damage
Operate forklift and order-picker
Use bar code scanners to handle all materials
Report and assist with resolving discrepancies discovered in receiving and shipping
Select and remove material from stock in accordance with order picking list
Prepare material for shipment consistent with customer’s, trucker’s, or driver’s requirements and balance and mark pallets
Fulfill responsibilities for maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse
Restock warehouse according to company guidelines and practices
Learn required product and packaging information
Understand warehouse storage system and products
Perform other related duties as assigned in the warehouse
Assist with will-call counter, writing up orders, answering emails, taking payment, and any other related duties assigned within the customer service department

Ability to learn specific product and packaging information
Strong computer skills
Ability to operate industrial material handling equipment
Strong work ethic
Possess basic mathematical skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthsiasm
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Be able to lift or remove up to 50 pounds
Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience, including experience operating a hi-lo, however we are willing to train the right person
Stand up Reach Forklift experience is a plus
Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery
Prior experience with the general public (customers) is a plus
