Position Summary
The ERP Technical Specialist provides advanced technical expertise and leadership in support of the K8 ERP system across the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining system stability, optimizing business processes, and supporting users at all levels through troubleshooting, reporting, system enhancements, and training. The position plays a critical role in ensuring the ERP system effectively supports operational and strategic objectives and serves as a key technical resource, including acting as a backup to the ERP Director and other ERP technical specialists.
Essential Functions
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the K8 ERP system, including system configuration, workflows, file structures, reporting, and integrations.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support to users across departments, including Department Heads and Super Users, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Partner cross-functionally to support ERP enhancements, new functionality, and process improvement initiatives aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with the ERP software provider on system development, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support the configuration, customization, and implementation of ERP modules, reports, and workflows.
- Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) for system updates and releases to ensure system readiness and stability.
- Design, maintain, and optimize ERP dashboards and user interfaces to improve usability and productivity.
- Develop and deliver advanced custom reports that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide training, documentation, and technical guidance to end users to promote effective and consistent system use.
- Serve as a technical backup to the ERP Director and support special projects and initiatives as assigned.

- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance for non-technical audiences.

Minimum Qualifications
- 20 years of technical experience with ERP systems and data management.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business applications.
- Experience supporting system enhancements, testing, and enterprise-wide user training initiatives.
