The anticipated hourly pay rate will be commensurate experience but no less than $18.00 per hour. The incumbent will need to work evenings and weekends as needed. Reporting to the Coordinator of Learning Resources, this position will provide circulation and basic reference services to students, faculty and community patrons. High-quality customer service is essential for success in this position.

Duties Include
- Interacting with patrons professionally, effectively, and courteously
- Using the Integrated Library System (Alma) to perform circulation duties
- Shelving and maintaining reference, reserve, circulating, and periodical materials in an accurate manner
- Informing patrons of library policies
- Instructing patrons in the use of the library catalog (Primo)
- Managing patron accounts (debts, etc.)
- Informing patrons about and assisting with Intercampus and Interlibrary Loan services
- Assisting with course and patron reserve materials
- Efficiently logging in newspapers and magazines
- Making RCC ID badges
- Assisting students with applicable software applications
- Opening and closing the library when necessary
- Working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
- Other duties as assigned
