Reynolds is seeking a Campus Law Enforcement Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This role involves enforcing state laws and campus regulations, responding to routine and emergency situations, and ensuring the protection of campus property. The officer serves as a visible presence on campus, promoting safety and providing exceptional customer service. Duties include patrolling campus grounds, operating police vehicles and equipment, responding to alarms, writing reports, and assisting with investigations.
The position may also involve overseeing part-time security staff and implementing security protocols.

KSA's/Required Qualifications
Must hold current certification or have the ability to obtain certification as a campus police officer as mandated by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS).
First Aid, AED, and CPR training certification. Basic skills in the operation of personal computers preferred.

The incumbent in this position will carry a firearm. Federal law prohibits a person convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence from carrying a firearm. All previous law enforcement positions held must be of good reproach and have ended/concluded with honorable standing in order to successfully pass the required background investigation.
