Job Duties
Scheduling & Staffing
Develop, maintain, and update the nursing schedule for RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and agency staff.
Monitor call-outs, attendance issues, and staffing gaps; secure coverage quickly and effectively.
Maintain daily staffing sheets, acuity-based staffing allocations, and shift rosters.
Coordinate agency requests and confirm assignments as needed.
Communicate staffing changes to supervisors, charge nurses, and department leaders
Work on the floor as a CNA when needed
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a current Certified Nursing Assistant License in the state of Virginia
Previous Staff Coordinator experience a plus
CPR certification upon hire or willing to obtain.
