POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily quality control activities and ensuring consistent execution of quality standards across the team. Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement, this role supports AQL-based quality processes while ensuring compliance with ISO requirements and internal quality systems.
This position provides direct supervision of inspection processes, reporting accuracy, and SLA adherence through a structured, hands-on approach to quality control. The Quality Control Supervisor monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), supports consistent application of quality standards, and works closely with the team to maintain operational efficiency. This role plays a key part in reinforcing accountability, supporting team development, and addressing quality issues as they arise. The supervisor escalates significant concerns to leadership and collaborates cross-functionally to support product quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, this role supports Lean and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise daily activities of the Quality Control team to ensure adherence to established standards and priorities
- Reinforce a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement within the team
- Support execution of AQL-based quality processes and ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal systems
- Maintain standardized inspection and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Track and monitor key quality KPIs, identifying trends and escalating concerns as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate inspection reporting in alignment with defined service level agreements (SLAs)
- Provide training, coaching, and day-to-day guidance to team members to improve performance and technical capability
- Support ongoing learning and skill development within the team
- Partner with internal departments to communicate quality issues, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Promote a customer-focused approach to quality and ensure alignment with customer expectations
- Support Lean initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall quality performance
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position directly supervises Quality Control team members.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality, Continuous Improvement, or a similar role, with direct team supervision experience preferred
- Working knowledge of process improvement principles, including Lean and Six Sigma
- Experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain environments preferred
