Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and outdoor spaces. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including landscaping, equipment repairs, and seasonal groundskeeping. Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators for construction, hardscape installation, or repair projects
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Maintain irrigation systems and perform seasonal snow plowing to ensure year-round accessibility and safety
• Assist with tree care activities including pruning, removal, or planting to promote healthy growth
• Support landscaping projects by installing new features like pathways or garden beds using appropriate hardscape materials
• Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance on fixtures, equipment, and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators or snow plows
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles
• Experience in construction or landscaping projects is highly desirable
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify maintenance issues proactively
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting diverse tasks including gardening, tree care, irrigation, and snow removal
• Valid driver’s license preferred; relevant certifications in landscaping or equipment operation are a plus
