Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, and planting flowers to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators for construction, hardscape installation, or land development projects.
• Maintain lawn care routines including irrigation system checks, watering schedules, fertilization, and snow plowing during winter months.
• Assist with tree care tasks such as trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Support gardening efforts by planting new greenery, mulching beds, and maintaining horticultural standards.
• Perform snow removal operations using snow plows or shovels to ensure safe access during winter weather conditions.
• Conduct inspections of outdoor areas for hazards or needed repairs and coordinate with team members or external contractors for repairs or landscaping projects.

Experience

• Proven experience in maintenance work with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and landscaping practices.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques including mowing, irrigation management, and garden maintenance.
• Hands-on experience operating hand tools, power tools, excavators or other heavy machinery used in construction or landscape projects.
• Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming and pruning to maintain safety and health of trees.
• Ability to perform snow plowing and winter maintenance tasks efficiently during seasonal changes.
• Prior work in horticulture or gardening is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is highly valued.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively. Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
