We specialize in providing compassionate, person-centered in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. As we launch operations in Arizona, we are seeking a self-driven and experienced professional to help us build and manage operations while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Position Overview:
The Operations & Compliance Manager will play a key leadership role in setting up and overseeing day-to-day operations in Arizona. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with a strong background in Arizona HCBS regulations, agency licensing, staff coordination, and non-medical home care program implementation.
This is a remote, part-time or PRN opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time leadership role as operations scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the startup and licensing process with Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) / HCBS
- Create and implement policies, procedures, and documentation systems aligned with Arizona regulations
- Serve as primary point of contact for regulatory compliance, audits, and inspections
- Oversee client intake, service planning, and quality assurance
- Support caregiver onboarding and training to meet state requirements
- Build efficient operational workflows and systems for scheduling, reporting, and file management
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper handling of sensitive client data
- Collaborate with leadership on agency growth strategy and community engagement in Arizona
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Public Health, or related field)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in home care operations or compliance management
- Strong knowledge of Arizona HCBS and medical home care regulations
- Demonstrated success in licensing or startup of a home care agency
- Experience with caregiver coordination, client service plans, and case management
- Highly organized, tech-savvy, and proactive in remote environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation:
- $500–$800 per project/engagement, depending on scope
- Potential for retainer or full-time role as the Arizona location grows
