Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer Project Manager role located in Barrington, IL. The Interior Designer Project Manager will lead residential interior design projects from concept through completion, including client consultations, design presentations, and ongoing communication to align design solutions with client needs and preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing space plans and construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The role also involves managing project schedules and budgets, overseeing procurement and installation, and resolving design or construction issues that arise during the project lifecycle. The Interior Designer Project Manager will collaborate closely with the broader project team to deliver high-quality, cohesive, and functional interiors that reflect the client’s vision and Vintage Luxury Homes’ standards.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetically cohesive residential environments.
- Working knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with builders and trade partners.
- Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and procurement, including finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories.
- Strong project management skills, including timeline management, budgeting, coordination of multiple stakeholders, and vendor oversight.
- Proficiency with design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and Microsoft Office or comparable tools.
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in high-end residential or custom home design is strongly preferred; familiarity with luxury materials and finishes is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Barrington, IL, visit project locations as needed, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
