Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their cabinetry needs, preferences, and project goals
• Create detailed design concepts using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize ideas clearly
• Develop comprehensive construction documents and drafting plans that adhere to building codes and safety standards
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of designs
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts to deliver high-quality results on schedule
• Conduct site visits for remodeling or renovation projects to assess space requirements and oversee installation processes
• Incorporate lighting design principles and color theory into cabinetry layouts for optimal aesthetic appeal
• Prepare detailed proposals including pricing estimates for clients based on scope of work and material costs
• Stay current with industry trends in interior design, lighting sales, and construction techniques to continually enhance your craft

Experience

• Proven experience in cabinetry design or interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization
• Knowledge of CAD software applications related to drafting and construction documentation
• Familiarity with project management practices including budgeting, scheduling, and contracts management
• Experience working within remodeling or renovation projects involving construction teams and suppliers
• Strong understanding of lighting design principles and lighting sales processes is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while managing multiple projects simultaneously

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
