As demand for our services continues to grow, we're looking to add an experienced Thermofoil Laminate Cabinet Refacing Technician to our team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented technician experienced in thermofoil cabinet refacing. You’ll be responsible for transforming existing kitchen cabinets by applying high-pressure thermofoil laminate materials and installing new doors, drawer fronts, and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site laminate cabinet refacing in residential kitchens
- Remove old doors, drawer fronts, and surface coverings
- Prepare cabinet surfaces for thermofoil laminate application
- Cut, fit, and apply laminate to cabinet face frames and exposed ends
- Install new cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware
- Maintain a clean, professional work environment
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Follow job specifications and meet project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with cabinet refacing or similar skills preferred
- Skilled in using routers, laminate trimmers, adhesives, and cabinet tools
- Strong finish carpentry skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently and troubleshoot on-site issues
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in residential environments
- Punctual, reliable, and professional appearance
- Experience installing soft-close hinges and drawer systems
