What are the responsibilities and job description for the STEM Acad Chaperone Jasper position at VINCENNES UNIVERSITY?
VUJ STEM Academy chaperones work in partnership with the camp Coordinators and VU faculty to ensure campers have a positive experience at camp. Chaperones will also be responsible for the safety and well-being of campers in day-to-day operations of camp.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have completed one year of college by the beginning of camp.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic organizational skills.
- Available to be present entirety of camp.
- Must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, or injury) and possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.
- Previous experience working with near-peers preferred.
