Audio Recording Adjunct

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates need a Master's degree in Music- Audio Recording or a Master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 credit hours in Music (with major emphasis in Audio Recording),

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Teach Audio Recording courses to freshman and sophomore students.
• Participate in departmental recruitment efforts and activities as needed.
• Provide a quality learning experience for all students in accordance with their needs and abilities while maintaining the basic integrity of course standards and objectives.
• Teach and maintain courses in accordance with university and departmental policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the subject area the individual will be teaching. Ability to work with a variety of learning styles and skill levels.
• Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics and challenges of community college students.
• Experience teaching in higher education (particularly community college experience) is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
