Job Description-
Role:RN PICU
Duration:
13 weeks (extension possible)
Shift:
- Days: 3x12
Pay:
- W2 (with stipend): $85/hr | $3,060/week
- - Taxable: $1,728/week - Non-taxable: $1,332/week
- 1099: $89/hr | $3,204/week
Summary-Provide nursing care to infants and children with simple to complex critical conditions under general supervision. Monitor patient status continuously, administer medications and treatments, assist with procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe and quality pediatric critical care.
Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate patient care
- Proficient in applying nursing techniques in critical care settings
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with healthcare team members
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond sensitively to diverse cultural and language needs of patients and families
Requirements:
Required Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing (Board Approved Program)
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current RN License (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing) or multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
