Cook - Moonsong Cafe+Bar

Villagio Hospitality Group is growing! We’re seeking talented and passionate Cooks to join our award-winning team at the Tempo by Hilton. As part of our culinary crew, you’ll support both Moonsong Café - a  stylish café with curated light fare - and Repeal Speakeasy - a hidden, Prohibition-inspired lounge featuring refined small plates and bold flavors.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for both Moonsong Café and Repeal Speakeasy, maintaining consistent quality and presentation
• Follow standardized recipes and plating specifications provided by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
• Maintain a clean and organized station while adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
• Operate a variety of kitchen equipment safely and correctly
• Assist with food prep, batch production, and mise en place for both day and evening services
• Manage time effectively to stay aligned with prep, service, and cleaning expectations
• Work collaboratively with the full kitchen team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
• Uphold Tempo by Hilton and Villagio Hospitality Group's values, mission, and brand standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a line or prep cook in a high-volume or upscale kitchen
• Strong understanding of various cooking methods, equipment, and culinary techniques
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and adaptable - ready to support both daytime café and evening lounge operations
• Capable of following direction and maintaining consistency across service outlets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional kitchen training
• Previous experience in multi-outlet hotel or restaurant group settings is preferred
• Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work morning, evening and late-night shifts, including weekends and holidays
