Dish Machine Operator - Repeal Speakeasy

Villagio Hospitality Group is growing! We are seeking reliable and hardworking Dish Machine Operators (Porters) to join the opening team at Tempo by Hilton, supporting both Moonsong Café and Repeal Speakeasy. If you take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes, we want you on our team!

As a Dish Machine Operator, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and service areas. Your efforts directly support our culinary and hospitality teams - and help ensure a seamless, elevated experience for every guest.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, floors, and storage areas
• Empty trash and recycling regularly and dispose of waste according to safety guidelines
• Assist with organizing incoming deliveries and storing inventory properly
• Keep dish room, prep areas, and walk-ins clean, organized, and hazard-free
• Support culinary team with light prep or setup tasks as needed
• Help set up and break down service stations or event areas
• Follow all sanitation and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health codes
• Report maintenance or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
• Support team during high-volume periods with a positive and team-first attitude

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a dishwashing or porter role is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as with a team
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in hospitality, janitorial, or kitchen support roles is a plus

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shift
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs safely
