We are one of Grayslake’s most established, reputable, and privately owned veterinary clinics. We are actively seeking an energetic, outgoing part time associate/surgeon to join our family. A strong interest in surgery and dentistry is preferred.
Village Veterinary Clinic is a Newly Renovated beautiful Boutique practice with a unique culture and style of care. We deliver integrative medicine (traditional and holistic) tailored to our clients’ individual lifestyles and circumstances, in a stress-free, compassionate, fun-loving environment. We offer state of the art equipment, electronic records, and grooming, to deliver extraordinary care by our truly exceptional staff. We are situated just 45 miles northwest of Chicago and 10 miles from the Wisconsin border.
Dr. Swearingen is committed to a positive work-life balance which nurtures employee loyalty and therefore offers unbeatable value to our clients. Most of our staff are here for the long haul (10yrs-25yrs). They enjoy each other’s company in and out of the hospital, whether it’s going together on CE trips cross country, or just camping together over the state line in Wisconsin. We also make team building a priority as well as a “family first” environment.
Our business hours are M-F 8am-5pm, Saturdays 8-12pm. The days are flexible, and we all work together to make sure everyone gets the time off that they need.
Job details
Wage: $60-100/hour depending on experience, qualifications and talents brought to the table.
Position: Part time. 3-5 years surgical/dentistry experience required. We are open to hiring as an employee or independent contractor.
