What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Clerk position at Village of Pewaukee?
The Village of Pewaukee (pop. 8,215) is the home of a beautiful lake community. The Village is searching for our next team member to fill the Deputy Clerk position, similar to a customer service/administrative assistant position.
This position is responsible for assisting the Village Clerk with duties that include but are not limited to:
· Customer service via phone and in-person,
· Election administration,
· Administering application/license processing
· Secretary to the Plan Commission and Board of Review,
· Records management,
· Website/Social Media management,
· Cemetery management,
· Excellent organizational skills,
· Cooperation/communication with all Village Department Heads and Board members.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and evening and night hours are required monthly for the meetings and elections.
Successful candidates shall possess a minimum of a high school diploma, two to three years of related experience such as moderate administrative experience or municipal experience, and strong communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office). Any experience in WisVote, Caselle, or other office/accounting software is preferred.

Pay Range: $45,198 - $66,953 per year depending on qualifications ($21.73 - $32.18 per hour).
