Deputy Clerk/Treasurer

The Village of Lisbon (population 11,219) is seeking a full-time Deputy Clerk/Treasurer to support key administrative functions and serve as an important public-facing member of our municipal team. This role focuses on licensing, election support, website and marketing initiatives, and providing exceptional customer service. The Deputy Clerk/Treasurer will also attend one Park Committee meeting per month and serve as backup to the Municipal Clerk when needed.

Job Duties

· Assists Village Clerk with Election duties

· Maintains Village website and social media outlets

· Answering phone calls and helping residents at the front window

· Processing yearly licenses and permits

· Assist with Utility billing and accounts receivable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: Associate degree in Business, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field
• OR at least two years of experience in a municipal setting, including work with local government elections
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
