The Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join the team at St. Francis Church of England Primary School.
This is a permanent position, required from September 2026.
Our new Deputy Headteacher will be a dynamic and self-motivated professional with a proven track record of school improvement, impact and delivery, embracing our Christian vision. We are looking for an individual with vision, motivation and ambition to support the Headteacher and school leaders to continue to drive the school on its journey towards educational excellence.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional teacher with leadership experience, and will demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience and compassion with high expectations for all as well as a commitment to inclusion.
The role is open to teachers with excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a happy and motivated team, and for those who are excited about the prospect of making a real difference to the lives of our children and families.

- Shortlisting will take place on 4th February.
- Lesson observations for shortlisted candidates will be undertaken in the candidate’s own school wherever possible, during the week beginning 23rd February.
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited to take part in an interview process on 4th and 5th March.
