Restorative Aide / CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Location: Mulvane, KS, 67110

We are looking for experienced and compassionate professionals to join our team. The successful candidate will work directly with patients to meet their needs and desires, including performing basic care and assisting with rehabilitation. This individual will also be responsible for helping with the overall cleanliness of the nursing home and interacting with other professionals within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative care including range of motion (passive/active), walking, splint or brace assistance, dressing/grooming, toileting, eating or swallowing, bladder retaining, amputation/prosthetic care, transfers, communication, bed mobility, and/or strengthening.
• Perform CNA duties as directed, such as assisting residents with personal tasks including feeding assistance, hydration, toileting, bathing, personal hygiene, transferring, ambulating, grooming, positioning, range of motion, restorative nursing, and other activities of daily living.
• Maintain personal and staff compliance with all State and Federal requirements including bloodborne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety.
• Monitor personal and staff compliance with Residents' Rights.
• Help maintain the overall cleanliness of the nursing home.
• Interact professionally with other staff members within the facility.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Current state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Experience in restorative care and CNA duties preferred.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

Work Schedule

• Standard shift: Day shift
• Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability required
