What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restorative Aide/CNA position at Villa Maria?
We are looking for experienced and compassionate professionals to join our team The successful candidate will work directly with patients to meet their needs and desires, including performing basic care and assisting with rehabilitation. This individual will also be responsible for helping with the overall cleanliness of the nursing home and interacting with other professionals within the facility
Restorative Aide/CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Responsibilities:
- Restorative care may include functions of range of motion (passive/active), walking, splint or brace assistance, dressing/grooming, toileting, eating or swallowing, bladder retaining, amputation/prosthetic care transfers, communication, bed mobility and/or strengthening.
- Provide CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) duties as directed. This may include duties such as: assist residents with personal tasks such as feeding assistance, hydration, toileting, bathing, personal hygiene, transferring, ambulating, grooming, positioning, range of motion, restorative nursing, and other activities of daily living.
- Maintains personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal requirements including: bloodborne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control and fire safety.
- Monitors personal and staff compliance to Residents' Rights.
- Perform other duties as required.
Restorative Aide/CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Qualifications:
- Current state Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification.
