Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced ERP Syteline Expert to support and enhance our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role is responsible for application maintenance, system enhancements, and integration support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems, database structures, and business processes, along with hands-on experience in development, troubleshooting, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
Programming & Technical Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain ERP application software.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy system enhancements and modifications.
- Create and modify:
- Forms
- Stored procedures
- Database structures
- Jobs, scripts, and reports
- Support integrations with third-party and internal applications.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards, validation procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery validation.
- Document code changes, system updates, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and incidents.
Business Analysis & Support
- Gather, analyze, and document user requirements.
- Define scope, risks, assumptions, and objectives with stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve system or process issues.
- Assess impact on business processes and operations.
- Provide end-user support and training on ERP functionality.
- Handle support requests via phone/email and track incidents in ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, DBAs, and IT leadership.
- Stay updated with ERP system enhancements through training, seminars, and user groups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience in ERP systems (preferably Syteline)
- Hands-on experience in programming and business analysis
- Strong knowledge of:
- Database concepts
- ERP architecture
- System integrations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
