Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity in Morristown, NJ (07962).
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced L&D RNs, Labor and Delivery Nurses, and Perinatal RNs looking to work in a high-acuity labor and delivery unit alongside an experienced perinatal care team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments across labor and delivery
- Deliver competent, evidence-based clinical care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Maintain complete, accurate documentation of the nursing process and patient education
- Respond to emergent situations using appropriate emergency equipment and procedures
- Follow National Patient Safety Goals and safe patient handling practices
- Support patient and family education throughout the delivery process
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
Schedule
- Full-Time | 36 hours per week
- Day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) available
