Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Maternal-Child Health Nurse Educator (Registered Nurse) for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity in Brooklyn, NY (11203).
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Nurse Educators, L&D Clinical Educators, and Maternal-Child Health RNs looking to work in a inpatient maternal-child health education role covering Labor & Delivery, NICU, MBU, and Pediatrics alongside a nursing inservice education team.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical education and coverage across inpatient maternal-child health units (L&D, NICU, MBU, and Pediatrics)
- Deliver targeted education for labor and delivery, NICU, and postpartum staff
- Support staff competency development in Labor & Delivery
- Maintain compliance with clinical education standards and licensure verification
- Collaborate with the nursing inservice education department on training initiatives
- Document education activities and staff competency outcomes
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license, primary source verified through NYSED
- Master's Degree in Education required
- Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience and 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program
Schedule
- Full-Time | 37.5 hours per week
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
