Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity in Morristown, NJ (07962).
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CVICU RNs, Critical Care RNs, and Cardiac ICU Nurses looking to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care unit alongside a collaborative critical care nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Deliver evidence-based critical care nursing within a Shared Governance model
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to support patient and family needs
- Maintain strong clinical documentation and communication standards
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Float within the unit as needed to support patient care coverage
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of critical care experience as an RN in a hospital setting
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- CCRN certification strongly preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Schedule
- Full-Time | 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts; straight night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and rotating/float schedules available
