Licensed Psychologist - Developmental & Behavioral Health

Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Psychologist for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity in Frederick, MD.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, and Behavioral Health Specialists looking to work in a supportive, community-based clinical environment alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary care team serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Psychologist Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic evaluations for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities
• Administer and interpret standardized autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnostic assessments, including the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and/or ADI-R
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and behavioral support plans
• Provide individual and group therapy services tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal standards
• Participate in treatment team meetings and provide consultation on behavioral health strategies

Psychologist Requirements

• Active license to practice psychology in the State of Maryland (PhD or PsyD)
• Required background in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessment, including formal training and demonstrated competency administering standardized diagnostic tools such as the ADOS-2
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health needs
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Ability to maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation

Schedule

• Full-time | Monday–Friday
• Standard business hours (approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
