Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) to join a collaborative and highly respected outpatient mental health team. This is a full-time or part-time, office-based opportunity in a growing clinical environment where professional development, patient safety, and quality of care are top priorities.
You will provide evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families while receiving structured mentorship and individual clinical supervision toward independent licensure. You will work alongside a dedicated group of behavioral health professionals in a supportive, team-oriented setting that values compassion, cultural sensitivity, and person-centered care.
What You’ll Do
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and evaluate clients’ needs, functioning, and appropriate levels of care.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy, including crisis counseling when necessary.
- Develop treatment plans, safety plans, behavioral plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation.
- Coordinate care with families, caregivers, teachers, and other collateral contacts to support treatment goals across environments.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, support utilization review activities, and comply with applicable Maryland regulations and organizational standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Active Maryland Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor license in good standing.
- Master’s degree in counseling or a related behavioral health field.
- Strong assessment, engagement, interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, or behavioral activation.
- Professional liability insurance or the ability to obtain coverage before beginning clinical work.
Schedule & Coverage
- Full-time and part-time schedules are available in an office-based outpatient setting.
- The clinic is scheduled to open in late August or September 2026.
- Clinicians will participate in weekly supervision and regularly scheduled staff or team meetings.
- Compensation is based on relevant experience and employment status.
- Benefits are available to employees who attain full-time status. Individual clinical supervision toward independent licensure is provided at no cost.
